There are three things you should really look for in choosing a consumer bankruptcy lawyer.
1. Personal attention. Is your lawyer the one meeting you and going to court with you and handling your case or is it being passed around to other lawyers all the time?
2. Experience.Does your lawyer have at least 10 years of experience and over 500 or a thousand cases personally filed himself or herself?
3. Exclusively bankruptcy law. Does your lawyer handle any other area of law or just bankruptcy? Business bankruptcy? Consumers bankruptcy?
