As of February 28, 2012, there have been 31,466 bankruptcies filed in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. The Southern District of Texas includes Houston, but also includes the follwing counties:


Austin, Brazos, Colorado, Fayette, Fort Bend, Grimes, Harris, Madison, Montgomery,

San Jacinto, Walker, Waller, Wharton
